We are coming down to the last two swim meets. It feels like the season has gone way too fast. I know practices are getting more demanding but with only two meets left, we are trying to get as many of you qualified for Metros so hang in there. No pain, no gain. :))

You may have noticed that I have opened the sign-ups for Senior Night, the Garfield meet, and Metros. You have to have a qualifying time in order to sign up for Metros. Then, I can also add 10 wild card spots. I usually reserve these spots for those who are super close to their qualifying times for Metros. But if an athlete declines a spot, I will invite someone who really wants to go.

SENIOR NIGHT -  October 18th. This is the night that we will recognize our seniors and Coach Loy cries her eyes out. Parents, please come! It will start at 2:45 pm with some short races, then senior relays, and finally Senior Recognition and gifts. Parents, it is customary to bring flowers or balloons for your daughters. Some senior nights are done during a swim meet but with time so limited in the pools, we do it on a Thursday. It is also a great time to take pictures with your daughters at the pool.

PS - Bishop Blanchet made a mistake on our 400 Free time so we did not qualify for State as previously thought but we will get it this week.
