Hello SWIVE!

Wow! What a great meet yesterday. The weather was nice, the pool was warm, Mrs. London brought out school toasties jackets for us. The Holy Names parents supplied us with all kinds of good food! We had an abundance of volunteers. (And my pool's girls toilet only clogged up once...lol. Oh, the relationship of a pool manager and a naughty toilet... but I won this round... Sally, I won...)

The very best part of the meet was the spirit of good sportsmanship felt by everyone!

Next to that was all the terrific times! 15 District qualifying times! And 34 Metro qualifying times! And there were so many of you that crushed your previous times. The divers were amazing and had some great competition. I see so many of our divers making Metros and Districts in the near future.

I am very please with the results from this meet! Especially with our limited practices.

So, some of you will notice that there is an x by your name. In a meet of this size, the top 4 times are what count towards scoring per school. So if you do not see an x by your name, it means your swim or dive counted towards our overall points, so congrats! I would like to personally thank Leyla Collins for swimming in the 400 Free Relay as an alternate and keeping us from having to scratch. That relay scored us points.
