Hello,

I have opened the Metro Championship and Districts for you to sign up now for those that have qualified. 

METROS: I will have to have my Metro entries by this weekend. So, I am asking to enter now as I am sure some of you will be too caught up in Homecoming to remember to do it before Saturday. I am allowed (10) wild cards regardless of time. I choose these based on time, dedication, and seniority. If your daughter has not qualified but desperately wants to attend, please let me know.

• Wild cards for Districts will be taken from Metros, so you must compete in whatever event you want to wild card in. Dual meet times will not be considered.
• Must find your own transportation. Find a carpool.
• Must be at school in the morning. But we will have ED.

DISTRICTS: I also need qualified athletes to sign up for Districts so that your team mates know what to compete in at Metro Championships. 

REMEMBER - I can only enter (4) athletes per event even if you have a qualifying time. IE - If (6) athletes qualify in the 100 free, I can only take (4). If all want to compete in the 100 free, I must compete the top four and two will be left out. But maybe (2) have qualified in another event that they have chosen to compete in instead. That would leave (2) spots open and the two would get to compete.

Be advised:

• Only 4 athletes per event. Let your team mates know what you are planning.
• You must compete in your State event in order to compete in it at State. IE - If you qualified in the 100 free for State, you still must swim it at Districts even though your already qualified.
• You must compete in your event in order to wild card into State. Times from dual meets will not be considered. For example: you get a time of 26.02 in a dual meet but get a 27.01 at Districts. The meet director will only take the time from Districts.
• We are in the first session. You still must attend school in the morning. Mrs. London will let us know when early dismissal will be.
• Must provide your own transportation to the meet.
