    Final Lineup for Metros!/Senior GPA's

    HI,

First, sorry if you are getting all these emails about Metros and am not participating. I do not have a good way to sort out the emails and my brain is too tired.

One last check before I submit. I changed a few individual events as well as the alternates for the 200 Free B Relay. I can change the relay line ups up until the start of the event so just because you are an alternate does not mean you won't be chosen to do the relays. I am still thinking through things and I advise you to come to practice this week.

We have a really deep team in Swim and definitely Dive. We are the largest team in the league and have a great chance of doing well at Metros. Please, wear your fast skins if you have them or look to borrow one. Every little tenth of a second helps. If all goes well we can place as high as 2nd place. If things go crazy well, we could get 1st. Currently, we are ranked 3rd going in. It will be really tough to beat Bainbridge and Lakeside and even Garfield at this point but if our top 4 athletes secure a place in every event (other than the 500) we have a great chance.

Let me know ASAP if I made a mistake and again, I am sorry but all the wild card athletes plan to use their wild cards. I am so sorry. I was based on first come, first serve and seniority. I wish the league would go back to doing the All Comers championship meet. It doesn't seem fair to allow everyone on SWIVE to participate in the last championship meet.

Seniors going to Metros - If you have a 3.75 cumulative average and want to be noticed in the Metros booklet, please let me know today ASAP. (Note: They will not post your GPA unless you want it listed.)

Congratulations to Meya Hedge for qualifying for Districts in Dive yesterday. Way to go!

    Take care,

    Coach Loy
