Hi Swive Family,

We had 74 percent of improved times! Woo hoo! And placed 3rd overall! Our divers placed 1st at Metros!

Congrats to all of you! Thank you to the parents that volunteered as timers or officials. And many thanks to the athletes that came on Saturday to support their team even though they didn't make finals.

Special thanks to Lauren Salerno for coming in at 8 am on Friday to help enter in dive scores.

We have some new District Qualifiers to add to the list:

• Sophia Larsen in the 200 Free
• Sarah Klute in 11 Dives
• Mae Vanderslice in 100 Free 
• Sophia Larsen in the 100 Back
• Vilija Liffick qualified in the 100 Back
• Katie Baber in the 100 Back (Please, note that Katie had to do this horrible swim off where she got her foot caught in the gutter but dropped 5 seconds anyways)
• Fiona Williams wild carded into Districts with her 100 breaststroke time from a dual meet.

State Qualifiers:

• 200 Medley Relay was only 1 second from breaking HNA Record (Sanjna Battepati, Regan Rowe, Hope Gelfand, Stella Cross)
• Elise Scott qualified in the 100 Fly
• Allyson Yao qualified in the 100 Fly
• 200 Free Relay (Stella Cross, Allyson Yao, Elise Scott, Regan Rowe)
• Regan Rowe in the 100 Breast
• 400 Free Relay - (Claire Douglas, Cassidy Wells, Sanjna Battepati, Allyson Yao, Elise Scott)

Post Season Practices - Rainier Beach as usual

In past years, if someone qualified for Districts but doesn't get to compete because they are in 5th position, we still had you come to practice. If you did not qualify for Districts, you may rest until next year. Sniff.. sniff.. I hate this part. :(
