Awards and Captains Announcement (Thank yous!)
Thank you to everyone that was able to come last night! And I am understanding of those of you who were not able to come. It is a busy time of year for when our Awards Banquet lands and because our team is so big, it works out best to be able to have it at Café (it’s hard to find a location for free that fits so many). Also, just so you know, I must go with the school’s schedule and the date is set by the school administration. I am hugely thankful for the use of the space as it was not always made available to teams and they made special accommodations for us. THANK YOU HNA!
THANK YOUS
Again, thank you for all of you that came and stayed late, knowing you had big tests in the morning. LOVE YOU
Thank to Indira Bahner for coordinating all the amazing food that came. Thank you to the Austin family for picking up all that delicious lasagna.
Indira would like for me to tell you parents that helped:
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness in donating the food and helping with set up.”
And - I would like to thank Coach Ed, Mr. Vanderslice, Coach Kelly, Stella and Vilija for helping me set up! And those of you who helped with clean up.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the coaches’ gifts! Very kind and generous of all of you! Coach Ed, Coach Kelly, Coach Kayla and I were greatly honored!

CONCLUSION
I will be honest. It was a rough year. I try to be positive all the time. But it was tough having the team divided. Say a prayer for the construction crew responsible for Medgar Evers pool to get it done and stay on top of problems. Some of the boy’s teams are practicing at outdoor pools. God bless all those coaches, coaching in the cold, including Coach Ed. It will be great to have Medgar Evers back next year!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS!
Have a great new year! Good luck with your school work! And thank you for being
THE BEST TEAM IN THE ENTIRE WORLD! LOVE YOU!
