It has come to my attention that not all of you have been receiving my messages, so I am going to use SwimTopia and Teams to send this out again instead of Family ID.

If I use Family ID, it only goes out to parents that registered their athlete and if I use Teams, it only goes out to the students. I prefer to use SwimTopia to communicate because I can easily send emails to both parents and athletes at the same time. You can change your preferred email address in your SwimTopia account by going into your account and simply changing your email address to your school address.

We received information this afternoon that an individual at swim practice on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, family member had an individual at work with a confirmed case of COVID-19. The individual’s family member did not appear to be in close contact, but will be getting tested for COVID 19. You are receiving the attached Seattle King County Public Health Sheet for informational purposes only to remind everyone of prevention measures.

With the number of COVID-19 cases increasing over the past two weeks in King County and out of an abundance of caution, we have cancelled swim practice on Saturday, November 14, and Monday, November 16, 2020, for the students and athletes who had been practice on Wednesday, November 11, 2020.

We will notify you as soon as the individual’s family member notifies us of their COVID-19 test results.
