Registration for January Practices starts NOW
Hi,
Registration for January practices starts today. If you missed the first email, here it is again.
Happy Holidays to the BEST TEAM IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!
We are finally getting the Tukwila pool secured for some January practices. We went with Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday based on the surveys. The times will be from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Mrs. London will be setting up Registration shortly.
Here is the schedule as I know it but go with what Mrs. London sets up:
January 5
January 7
January 9
January 12
January 14
January 16
January 19
January 21
January 23
Again, you are not required to attend these practices. It will not affect you when and if the SWIVE season begins. But we wanted to offer practices at the pool as some students really need the exercise for physical health and mental health. Coach Kayla and I swim at Tukwila once a week. They are very strict, clean, the chlorine level is kept a bit higher and they keep the doors open.
THINGS TO KNOW about Tukwila pool:
Location is 4414 S 144th St., Tukwila, WA 98168
At the 3 pm time, it is about a 25-30 minute drive from HNA to the pool
Plenty of parking
The locker rooms are closed, so come in your bathing suit and leave in your suit.
You are required to wear a mask while out of the water.
Bring a phone if you can with a waterproof case or ziplock. We plan to videotape your strokes so you can view later.
If you want to get a COVID-19 test. Tukwila has a free testing site for people without symptoms near the pool.
I will send more details as I receive them. I just wanted to give you a heads up so you can be prepared.
Regarding the SWIVE and all other sport seasons, Mrs. London will be hearing from WIAA in the next couple of weeks. I will let you know anything I hear.
Missing all of you and hope we have a better year ahead of us. Praying for good health to you and your families!
REMINDER: Athletes, if you or anyone you were around over the holiday break were exposed, showed symptoms, or tested positive for COVID-19:
- DO NOT COME TO PRACTICE
- Please reach out to Mrs. London ASAP so HNA may follow up and begin the process of clearing you to return to training
Sincerely,
Coach Loy
