Hi,

I just got some bad news. We will not be doing afternoon practices at Medgar Evers until September 2nd.

This means those of you who were only planning on doing afternoon practices will not be eligible for the first swim meet against Garfield if you start September 2nd as you won't have 10 practices in order to compete.

I am very sorry for this news. I have updated the schedule on the Home page of SwimTopia but here it is:

• 8/22-9/2 is Morning only 5:30-7am
• 9/6-9/23 is Afternoon only  2:45-4pm 
• Starting 9/26 M-Th 5:30-7am and M/W 2:45-4pm.

They are doing construction stuff at ME in the afternoons. I am sorry for the change in schedule. It could not be helped. Just think of the character you will build swimming in the mornings. :) Just get those 10 practices in before our meet with Garfield.

Dive Practices at Queen Ann

Pre-Season - 8/22 - 9/13

• MWF - 8 am - 9:30 am

Regular Season

• M - 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm
• W - 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
• S - 8:30 am -11:00 am

Occasional dive practices at Medgar Evers on Thursday depending on Coach Ed's schedule.

Please, make a note of these practice changes along with the Catholic Invitational which time has switched from 1:00 pm to 10:00 am. The pool manager at GSSC is a real number, I tell you. LOL. (I am the manager of GSSC).

I will be updating Heja. See you bright and early on Monday. Yikes. It's been awhile since I have woken up this early.
