IMPORTANT SWIVE NEWS FOR 2024-25
Hello SWIVE,
I hope everyone is doing well. I wanted to let you know I have decided to make a change in my life.
I started coaching high school swim 12 years ago as a favor. It was supposed to be a temporary position and it morphed into so much more!
In my 12 years, I have saved three swim programs, coached 7 different teams, created and ran swim lesson programs for three different pools, won Coach of year Seamount League, Boys Coach of the year for Evergreen High School, Coach of the year Metro League, managed three different pools, and helped write a grant to replace all the starting blocks at Evergreen Community Center pool. But I am most proud of all the people I have taught to swim from 2-year-olds to 70-year-olds.
I have enjoyed every minute of the past years and I have especially enjoyed being Head Coach of Holy Names, but I have been ready for a break from coaching for a while, and I feel now is the right time. I love you all and love Holy Names and it has been a real honor to be your coach the past eight years. I have had so many fun experiences and met some of the most amazing people on this earth, who have inspired me to be a better me.
I would not be leaving if I did not feel like you were in good hands!
Good luck to you all and continue to be the BEST TEAM IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!
I am going to miss you but don’t worry I won’t be far away and promise to visit and catch up with you all whenever I get a chance.
Love – Mrs. Loy
