Hello Holy Names Swim & Dive,

For those of you who are new to Swim & Dive- Welcome! We're so excited for you to join us this fall. For those of you returning, I am SO incredibly excited to return this year as Head Coach. We've got a new Assistant Coach Stacy, and Coach Jen will be returning as well for some afternoons and meets.

We can't wait for this season! If you are planning to dive this season- even a few meets, please email me- we're working with the district around a Dive Schedule and I want to make sure we have a good idea of our participation! 

Below you will find all the information to get started- more coming this summer too! This is just a reminder to get started, and get connected via FinalForms & Swimtopia. I'm sending this email out through both platforms -so I apologize if you've received this multiple times! If you have any questions about the attached or below materials, please let me know I'd be happy to answer questions.

 1. SAVE THE DATE: August 24th- Summer Swim Retreat (Captains will send out information soon, and parents/siblings welcome, but in the meantime, please save the date!)

2. New meets added to Swimtopia! Make sure you're signed up!

3. Sign up for Final Forms/ FamilyID- to practice on the first day 8/26 YOU MUST have all forms, medical etc completed. If your account shows red on final forms- you will not be allowed to practice or have it count as a practice.

4. Heja- if you're still on Heja, great! If not, download the app- this is where the parents and swimmers and coaches can all connect, share practice schedules, pictures and chats. Carpool information can sometimes be found here, lost swim suits and critical practice information. Information won't be active on the app til later in the summer- Here is the code. Load the app from your app store, join existing team HNA Swim and Dive  The code is EK-781066

5. Swimtopia. You can sign up here. I've created the 2024 registration. At least one parent should register as well. Meets will be in there shortly, but the meet schedule is included in the practice schedule PDF. https://holynames.swimtopia.com/

6. Parent Volunteers! We will need timers, officials and everything in between. The email to sign up will be sent out later this summer, but please let me know if you'd like to participate! You'll be able to sign up shortly on swimtopia- we're only the hosts of 3 meets, but it'll be good to have it ready with lots of backups!

7. Practice Schedule- attached you will find the preliminary schedule for 2024 Swim Season- some dates may be subject to change but will be communicated through these channels above so it's important to sign up for all of them! You can also find it on Swimtopia

8.The most important part of this email, THE MERCH! Team suits can be purchased on Swim Outlet this year. They will send a percentage back to Holy Names to be used for more supplies for the team- the Jolyn suits from the last two years are available on the store, as well as the black suits from 2021. Newly added are TYR and Arena - maroon and grey suits - in varying styles & coverage. Swim in what you are comfortable with wearing- and size and style accordingly.
