Metros Details: November 1st & 2nd, Snohomish Pool

Friday Nov 1: Dive 9am-About Noon (prelim-8 dives only)

Swim: Warm Ups 2:30pm, , Prelims 4pm Saturday

Nov 2: Warmups 2:45, Coaches Mtg 3pm, Finals, 3:30pm , Dive Final 3 Dives after 50 Free.

Bus to the meet Friday: See Final Forms email from Mrs. London

You are required to get your swimmer home from the meet Friday, and to the meet on time and home Saturday. We would like all swimmers to stay to cheer on their teammates the whole time.

I will start a Heja group chat once this Metro League entries are submitted Sunday.

Updates:

Metros has some changes this year- some schools in the Metro League are now 2A or 4A, alongside the 3A schools, so I've listed some updates below.

This meet CANNOT happen without volunteers. I know that this a tough ask, but we need people from each school to volunteer to be timers, runners, and deck marshals. Volunteers can be parents, guardians, students, school staff, your family members or good friends of yours or the program.

For those interested in volunteering at Metros - we need two timers to cover one lane each day. This can be done in shifts, but we need to cover all the assignments. This can also be student volunteers!  

FRIDAY ASSIGNMENTS (4 - 8) 

SATURDAY ASSIGNMENTS (3:30 - 7:30)

• TICKET PRICES AND TICKET PURCHASING TO YOUR COMMUNITY: Adults - $11.50; Students with ASB and Seniors (62 and up) - $7.50. We will either use HomeTown Ticketing or attendees can pay with debit, credit, Apple or Google Pay. I will give a definitive answer the week prior to the meet.
• Heat Sheets and Programs: We will no longer provide paper copies of heat sheets. Fans can look at Meet Mobile or look at the paper sheets posted on walls around the aquatic center. Programs will be free and include scholar-athletes, the coach of the year, and the sportsmanship award.
• DO YOU HAVE SOMEONE OR A SMALL GROUP THAT WANTS TO SING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM? I know we have a lot of members of SWIVE on choir....
• Swimming Times: If a swimmer is registered with USA Swimming and wants their times input into SWIMS, the swimmer’s USA Swimming membership number must be included on the entry file. I will send the updated file of those who I need numbers for, but you're welcome to send me yours just in case in advance of that.
